    Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat to protect you from high-altitude sun.

    Water Bottles: At least 2 liters of drinking water.

    Camera or Smartphone: To capture the wildlife and mountain scenery.

    Walking Poles: Optional, but very helpful for the descent to reduce knee strain.

    Personal Identification: A copy of your passport for park registration at Marangu Gate.
